Vincent Faudemer is an artist from Normandy in France, he is known to have appropriated one of the symbols of childhood, the character of Babar as the main subject. Reworking him in sculpture with a treatment based on silvering, he met from the first year of his exhibition, a spectacular craze, many French and American celebrities were seduced by his work. He regularly cites Damien Hirst, Jeff Koons, Takashi Murakami and Jean Michel Basquiat as a source of inspiration.
